Born in Nankana Sahib in 1987, Asad graduated in Textile Design from Punjab University in 2011 but his keen interest in finding new mediums to create sculptural forms led him to do his Masters of Fine Arts in sculpture from PU in 2015. He has several group shows to his credit and was part of the BQ residency, Lahore in 2015. He taught sculpture, drafting and textile design in GC University Faisalabad and Government college women university Faisalabad for sometime before he decided to work as full time artist. He lives and works in Lahore, Pakistan
